Books are essential for education; they are an important part of community justice. We take donations from any institution or individual and use them to fight illiteracy.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to be the connection between book donors and communities in need of Literacy resources. People impacted by our actions become essentially more educated and talented than never before. Come connect with our educational activities and impact the future of thousands people.
Every Saturday, we mobilize our teams of volunteers to make a real difference. Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get an impassioned team to focus on change.
Come be part of the fun with reading activities at our Book Community Center.
The most sensitive aspect of our action will also and especially be to focus on the access to books for people with disabilities (blind, deaf-and-dumb, physically handicapped people, elderly people having a memory failure…); For them we need particular equipment, in regards to narrative reading, Braille reading and writing, sign language.
To facilitate our work, we plan to train volunteers in the domain of sign language, braille and Narration, because at Efil World Foundation, we are convinced that relating or narrating a story, or the news in the right way to a person suffering from cerebral failure can effectively contribute to his well-being.
Having books is great, exposing books is an issue!
